First Actual Website Ever

I did it.

 I built a website.

The page I made is for Libby, and her create works. it has a Portfolio, About Me, and Contact Me sections. I did use a template to get myself off the ground, but with the customization I am putting into it, it has become its own thing. The template I used can be found here. And to view the finished web page just go to libbyalley.com!

Consumables March 2016

March has just about ended. And I wanted to start a new series of posts called My Consumables. Where I think I would basically sum up what I have been absorbing lately in media, books, and music. So here they are.

Books: In literature I have read a couple new books for school. One being Hero Over Here. This is a short story about a 11 year old boy during the first World War. His small town is actually fighting its own battle of a wide-spread flu. This book is particularly interesting, because modern medicine hasn't been put into practice yet and these people are trying anything they can to get rid of this awful sickness. Also I just picked up a book called Gone-Away Lake. This book is really good. It's about two cousins that find a swamp with two awesome old people and a ghost town in it. That's all I will say but you should read it. I also re-read the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series. And with that series, you know I finished all five in less than 2 weeks.

Music: Lately I've just been sticking to the Foo Fighters discography with a little Nirvana. It's fun going back and forth between the two bands. My favorite albums are Nevermind and The Colour and Shape. Seriously, Foo Fighters are the best group that came from the 90's.

Movies/TV: I saw the new Pee-Wee Herman movie on Netflix. And all I have to say was "eeh". It was the typical outrageous Paul Rubens character, but the movie didn't live up to the previous hit. Also, I have lately been casually watching the first season of The Cosby Show. Good stuff man.

Games:
Been playing constant Heroes of the Storm. I put all of my video game time into this game. It took me a while to finally get into this game, but something clicked this month and I think it's awesome. I also started a Fallout 4 campaign this month, and it totally changed my life. This game is my very first Bethesda game. It's really amazing how good a video game can be if you put 6 years into making it. Aaaaand. I started a D&D campaign with my eldest sister and brother, with me being the DM. Not sure how it will end up, but right now they are on a quest for a bartender to gather a magical item. This is my first D&D campaign, so I'm basically just going off what I find on the internet. I've been writing the campaign from scratch and I drew all of the maps. And instead of using 20 sided dice I have 12 sided dice.

So there are my consumables of March 2016! They are rapidly changing, so I'll probably have a new post of these next month.

Emojis That are Never Used

These are all of the emojis that I think are used the least. Like. Almost nonexistent.

1. πŸ‘·πŸΌWho the heck is this guy! Like seriously he looks like he's asleep and doesn't really care that he's an emoji. If I were an emoji I'd make sure I wasn't asleep when created

2. 🍡This looks like the grossest soup I've ever seen. It looks more like a bowl of vomit than broth.

3. 🚑🚠What? Are these helicopters? Or trollies? And in what context would I use this?

 4. ㊙️🈢🈲🈡🈴㊗️πŸ‰‘πŸˆš️πŸ‰πŸˆΈπŸˆΊπŸˆ·πŸˆΉπŸˆ―️πŸ’ΉπŸˆ‚πŸˆ³If you're American, you've most likely never sent one of these emojis.

5. πŸ˜€ With so many new emojis, one that I see the least is the very first one. Instead I see one of the 50 variations of the smile likeπŸ˜„☺️πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜Œ.

In my opinion, the emoji keyboard is too big. It is so hard to find an emoji that by the time I find it, it's not even worth sending because of how much time I spent searching. If we had 100 emojis instead of 1,000, life would be so much easier.

Star Wars: The Force Definitely Awoke!!!!

So I just saw Star Wars about 6 hours ago, and boy was it good! And just so everyone knows, this post is spoiler-free and I won't give away anything from the movie.

As I said I just saw it 6 hours ago, so I may not say everything I want to say about the movie. Now I am very optimistic when it comes to movies(a specially in a theater) and I thought Star Wars was perfect. And almost everyone else agrees with me. It had great action, humor, drama, and romance? Not sure about the last one. There wasn't much of it. Great actors, especially Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac. And the villain Kylo Ren was evil and just how you want a good villain to be.

Things to know before seeing this movie: Don't read anything on the Internet. DON'T read anything on the Internet. Trust no one. Watch the original trilogy. Get ready for an emotional roller coaster.

Video Game Wishlist

So about this time of year, a lot of new video games have and will be released. I've compiled a list of the ones I want, and what most excited for and why. So from least to most anticipated, here they are.

5. Assassins Creed Syndicate
This is the latest installment in the AC series and was released two months ago. I personally have only played through 3 and 4, but this one looks awesome. It takes place in 1868 and the game calls it "the tail-end of the industrial revolution". As the player you play as the twins Jacob and Evie Frye. There are a lot of famous characters in the games story line. To name of few: Charles Dickens, Charles Darwin, Alexander Graham Bell, and Jack The Ripper.

4. Halo 5 Gaurdians
Now Halo is my favorite shooting-game franchise. And the only reason this game isn't number one, is for a small detail that Bungie left out. The game isn't split-screen. You can't play split-screen at all in the multiplayer! This was a major disappointment to me because Halo is known for its multiplayer. But besides that, the game looks really cool and the Campaign story looks really good. This game came out in September.

3. Skyrim
This game isn't new, it came out in 2011. But I have been wanting it for a while now, because of how good it is. Skyrim is the 5th part of a series called the Elder Scrolls. This is a free-roaming game where you make a lot of player decisions in the story. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills.

2. Fallout 4

Now we've arrived to the top two. It was very hard what game to give the number 1 spot to, but I made a decision. But on to Fallout! My friend gave a pretty good description of this game. He said that it's Skyrim with guns. Which is almost correct. This game is set in a post-apocalyptic Boston in the year 2287, 210 years after a nuclear war. Fallout 4 is an open-world with various quests and objectives for the player to complete. A cool gameplay feature is that you can switch between 1st and 3rd person. It looks awesome.

1. Star Wars Battlefront
Duuuh duuh du du du duuuuh duuuh du du du duuh duuuh du du du duuuuuuuh. Star Wars! In a video game! This game looks amazing just from the trailers. You get to live through the classic battles from the movies and get to be the characters that you love. The release of this game was very thought out. They've already put out a DLC of a battle from the new movie. I'm so excited for this game and it's further releases.

Revenge of the Sith Sucked

I just watched Episode III of Star Wars, and wanted to say how terrible I thought the movie was. And that's exactly how bad it was. It was so bad I felt I had to write a blog about why it was so bad. So here it is in all of my negativity.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith had some of the worst writing, CGI graphics, and acting I've ever seen. Nothing good happened in the movie, only evil. Why would you make a movie knowing it wouldn't have a happy ending at all. Only sadness and hatred were what I felt towards Star Wars after watching III. Hayden Christensen was a great choice to portray Anakin Skywalker, if he could act!! His lines where so cringe worthy and so terrible it really killed all tension and emotion of every scene. There were a few good things that came out of the movie. So I've decided to write those in list form.

1. The soundtrack was great.
2. Minor characters such as Count Doku, Mace Windu, and Yoda.
3. General Grievous
4. Da Wookies

But besides that, the movie was pretty awful. I didn't like how sad it was and how evil it shows the Chancellor/Emperor. The only reason why some people call this movie good is because of the action scenes.

New trailers have happened

So in the past 2 weeks two new trailers for things that I'm excited for have been released. The first one was Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
A strange hand on R2-D2, but come on guys its obviously Luke Skywalker.

X-Wings flying over a cool looking lake thing.

And the mask of yours truly DARTH VADER!!!!
Now this trailer was so informative on the plot of the movie, that I'm hoping they don't release any more information for the movie until it comes out. This trailer is causing me to make random assumptions on what will happen in the movie. It was a great trailer and really gets you excited for Star Wars again. Here it is below...

Next trailer that was released was for the BBC show Sherlock. Now earlier in the year, it was announced that there was going to be a special for the show in late 2015. This trailer did reveal that the series 4 episode would be realized January 1st, 2016. From what I've heard and seen, this episode will not take place and will not be related to the shows grand plot. But it does have the same characters. You'll get what I mean after you watch this.
Well I'm excited!!!! I will write my opinions on both things after I watch them.
